FRECCIAROSSA

Designed in 1982 (named ETR 500 - green livery, see top right) it is the first High speed train of the Italian State Railways.

With a cruise speed of more than 300 Km/h it was called the ‘Ferrari of the Trains’. Shorter trip-time thanks to the high speed performances, top level comfort and services on-board made a real revolution in railway transportation.

FRECCIAROSSA is a real example of ‘time-less’ design: still today, after more than 30 years, the train set appears so appealing, elegant, modern, dynamic, and emotional!
