The ‘Metro Ligiero 7000 - 9000’ is considered the flagship of the Madrid Mass Transit fleet.

The design is unmistakable and distinctive among the others metro rolling stocks in operation. The front-end is streamlined and the coupler is hidden inside the nose allowing a very smooth shape for the best aerodynamic efficiency. The tapered front-end with the ‘U’ shaped headlights and the ‘arrow livery‘ emphasizes the dynamic image of the vehicle. The interior layout is aimed to let a great free space for passengers locating the seats by the side walls. Infotainment systems are installed in the ceiling.
