PEGASUS MDV 1200 . Fincantieri Fast Ferry

The PEGASUS MDV 1200 class fast ferry is a fleet of six vessels built by Fincantieri Genova - Italy starting on 1996. In a total length of 100m, 700 passengers can be accommodate with 180 cars in the cargo hold. Top speed is 80 km/h: the hydrodynamic study of the peculiar hull is strictly derived from the experience of the military high-speed vessels. Originally built for operating on the English Channel ‘La Manica,’ Pegasus was sold to different operators mainly in Europe and Saudi Arabia.
