The ‘Museo della Civiltà Normanna’ (Museum of Norman Civilization) is located by the Norman Castle of Ariano Irpino Italy. Vernacchia Design developed the architectonic project of the building, including exterior, interior, and the arrangement of the Museum area - floor 2, Conference hall - floor 1, and Welcome Bar - ground floor.
The Museum represents a valuable statement of artistic promotion and cultural development, collecting significant historical finds: coins, seals, archaeological artefacts, archives and library, as well as pole arms, faithful reproductions, and educational materials useful for schools. The entrance to the museum shows a scenic stroll within the Norman castle walls and towers, ending the tour with a stop on the high panoramic lookout.
